No. We will not withhold the names of persons charged with crimes
from stories about newsworthy events of general public interest.
When a person is indicted, arrested or otherwise charged with a crime,
their name and certain personally identifiable information (date of
birth/age, address, etc.) is a matter of public record.
Anyone charged with a criminal offense by authorities is presumed
innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in an
appropriate court of law. In addition, we will always endeavor to
fairly report both sides of any dispute.
